Anki
We don't need SRS features to contribute to Immersion Kit but this will be the manager for our media which will also allow access to useful language addons.
Movies2Anki
This is an extension for Anki similar to subs2srs that works on both Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu.
After adding it to Anki, we would need to adjust its image preferences. We will discuss this in Setup.
Sublime Text
Sublime Text is the recommended text editor for SRT subtitle files and large JSON files that you may need to work with.
